The GRIBOI association stands for “Groupe de Recherche Interdisciplinaire sur les Biomatériaux Ostéoarticulaires Injectables”, and was first founded and led by Dr. Hervé Deramond, pioneer and founder of vertebroplasty.
For many years the GRIBOI association, under M. Bohner’ s successful presidency, has been bringing together the Basic Sciences in Chemistry, Bioengineering and Biocompatibility, in collaboration with Medical Doctors from Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgeons and Orthopedics, allowing us as a group to step into the future of new biocompatible devices and materials for percutaneous interventions.
Our 2017 meeting, in partnership with the “Hellenic Society of Nanotechnology in Health Sciences”, aims upon three major pillars: Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Image Guided Therapy and Injectable Materials.
This year’s meeting, taking place in Athens, Greece from 18-21 May 2017, will offer unparalleled opportunities for networking with colleagues and luminaries from around the globe. Consultants and young scientists together with industry in a common ground on Percutaneous Image Guided Therapies, will have the chance to explore a new world with ground breaking science.
On behalf of the GRIBOI organization, volunteers and staff, we wish you an extraordinary, memorable and productive stay here in Athens, Greece.
